I may become involved in writing a children's history book about Leeds and I have been very busy with research. The good thing about research is that I've found out all sorts of interesting things about Leeds. The bad news is that I've become so involved in the research work that I haven't had time to do any writing. I must make myself a timetable and stick to it. Just as soon as I've finished reading about the Roman Invasion.
My lovely publishers, Gullane, designed a colouring sheet for my Happy Birthday Santa book. The paperback is out in October. I took some sheets to the libraries where I did some readings. The sheets were very popular. I was tempted to do some colouring myself. The sheet is available as a download under 'Fun stuff'. The scene refers to the part in the story where Sylvie and Rudolph have almost given up trying to find out when Santa's birthday is - but then they receive some valuable information on the bus.
