Gillian Rogerson

ebay shop and other things

I haven't put anything new on my blog for a week as I have been very busy.

First of all, my 'baby' left primary school last week. It was very upsetting for all the mums and we cried a lot. The children cried a little bit but then they saw the Hummer limo that we mums had arranged for them. They pushed us out of the way as they raced towards it. It's sad when children grow so quickly but as my daughter said, "Now I'm older, you can get on with your life more." I thought sadly, "You are my life."

Anyway, time to move on. At least I can still visit primary schools and talk to the little ones there.

I have been booked for several library visits over the Summer and into October. I will put all the details on my event list in the next few days.

I have set up a 'shop' on ebay for anyone who wants to buy signed copies of my books. I know a lot of people already have accounts set up on ebay and prefer shopping that way. You'll find the books under my name and the book title. I sold my first book yesterday (The Smallest Hero) to a lovely customer. The great thing about my shop is that 10% of every sale goes to Save The Children.

I shall finish this section with a picture of Princess Spaghetti and her alien friends. I had a lot of fun making them and they are very popular on my school visits.
